This Rope Gag is made from 5/16" lariat rope, offering a responsive yet forgiving feel that encourages effective communication between horse and rider. The ⅜" mullen-style dogbone mouthpiece with inlaid copper promotes salivation and comfort, while the dogbone center ensures even pressure across the bars of the mouth for balanced communication. A copper roller adds taste and tongue engagement, encouraging relaxation and acceptance. The full-ring side design prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth for added stability, and the lariat rope applies subtle poll pressure when engaged to promote flexion and collection.
